Abusing ‘Anti-Semitism’
Abusing ‘Anti-Semitism’
by Ran HaCohen
The eve of the Jewish New Year is an excellent occasion for what Jewish tradition calls Kheshbon Nefesh, or soul-searching on so-called “anti-semitism”, which has now become the single most important element of Jewish identity. Jews may believe in God or not, eat pork or not, live in Israel or not, but they are all united by their unlimited belief in anti-semitism.
When a Palestinian kills innocent Israeli civilians, it’s anti-semitism. When Palestinians attack soldiers of Israel’s occupation army in their own village, it’s anti-semitism. When the UN General Assembly votes 133 to 4 condemning Israel’s decision to murder the elected Palestinian leader, it means that except for the US, Micronesia and Marshal Islands, all other countries on the globe are anti-semitic. Even when a pregnant Palestinian woman is stopped at an Israeli check-point and gives birth in open field, the only lesson to be learnt is that Ha’aretz journalist Gideon Levy – who reported two such cases in the past two weeks, one in which the baby died – is an anti-semite.
Anti-semitism is an all-encompassing explanation. Anything unpleasant to anti-Palestinian ears is just another instance of anti-semitism. Jewish consciousness focused on anti-semitism has taken the shape of anti-semitic conspiracy theories, like that of The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion: whereas the anti-semitic classic relates every calamity to Jewish conspiracy, Jews relate to anti-semitic conspiracy every criticism of Israel. As we shall see, this is not the only similarity between anti-Palestinianism and anti-semitism.

Kabbah
The tapestry is called “Kiswa”.
The Kaaba is covered with new kiswa (cover) every year, which coincides with Haj. It was a custom started by the Prophet Ismail 4000 years before the origin of Islam.
Every year the old Kiswa is removed, cut into small pieces and gifted to certain individuals, visiting foreign Muslim dignitaries and organisations. Some of them sell their share as souvenirs of Haj. Earlier Umar bin al-Khattab (Leader in early Islamic history) would cut it in to pieces and distribute them among the pilgrims who used them as shelter from the heat of Makkah.
The present cost of making the kiswa amounts to SAR 17 million ($ 4,537,048 USD). The cover is 658 sq. metres long and is made of 670 kgs of pure silk. For embroidery 15 kilos of gold threads are used. It consists of 47 pieces of cloth and each piece is 14 Mts. long and 101 cms broad. The kiswa is wrapped around the Kaaba and fixed to the ground with copper rings.

Cheney backs Palestinian state
Cheney backs Palestinian state
The US vice president has said that a Palestinian state is “long overdue” but has warned Palestinian attacks on Israel “kill the legitimate hopes” of its establishment. Dick Cheney made the comments at a news conference in Ramallah on Sunday, hours after promising Israelis that the United States supported Israel’s “right to defend itself”.

Suicide Bombing
Like I always say about the Israeli/Palestinian situation. If you feel you have been reduced to committing the sin of suicide and murder to fight back then you would be better off accepting occupation.
Better to live life under occupation and go to jennah (heaven) and murder/suicide and get the worst in hellfire.

Jews and Arabs II
The way I see it, Muslims and Jews can (and have in the past) formed a completely complimentary relationship. Consider the following:
1. Both groups believe in the Oneness of God.
2. Practice of the Jewish religion is not claimed to be the only path to salvation, non-Jews can be righteous by following the 7 Noahide Laws.
3. There is little dispute about whether or not Muslims qualify under the Noahide laws (this is much less clear with Christians).
4. Judaism does not seek the conversion of others to this religion.
5. Muslims believe that Jews, as people of the book, have every right to continue the practice of their religion as they see fit, can not be compelled in any way to become Muslims, and need not be Muslims to succeed in this life and the next life.
6. Both are the targets of Christian prostilization attempts and at times throughout history, violent reprisals because of their different conceptions of God.
The conclusion?

Obama and the Black Agenda
When will people associated with these guys learn to shut up!?!
It appears the Black community got over zealous and over confident in their excitement at the first chance they had forablack president. What?? do they think they are untouchable?
And I saw the commentary on Larry King with the black political activists and apologists for Obama. WTF? Do they know how to speak in every day english or do they always HAVE to go into rymes?? Now is not the time for black nationalism or racism. Now is not the time to put yourself off as a black revolutionary, like Dr. King! You have to be at least perceived to be just an ordinary commentator, not someone who is stuck in their own world trying to push a particular agenda (i.e. black agenda).
I don’t think Obama is as extreme or racist as some of these people speaking in support of him. I think the exhileration and excitement of finally having a Black nationalist agenda fulfilled (ie first Black President) is creating a tidal wave that could backfire.
Don’tget me wrong, I am supporting Obama. I think he is the best option for a change in politics which America desperately needs. Kick the Baby boomers out and get fresh blood and new thinkers in.

Jews and Arabs
Both from the line of Shem (semites), Grand children of Abraham and sons of Ishmael and Isaac, I realized that in many cities I have been in around the USA they can live somewhat peacefully.
Although the media plays up to religious overtones in the crisis in the ME, I dont see problems between the two faiths. Also note that not all Arabs are Muslims (some are Jews and Christians). But I am talking about Jews and Muslims now.
Do you?

Can God be Tempted by the Devil?
As for Jesus being God, I have my own understanding of this that has been with me from the start…in that Jesus, by virtue that while in the human flesh, was ONLY GODS WILL in word, action and deed, was able to fully caste off Satan or temptation, was of a virgin birth with no human sin to his record, is DIVINE. If you look at Jesus you will not see human ways, human will, human ego, human teachings, human understandings, or any of our human failings in his human life. So, all that was human about him WAS THE FLESH (which includes hunger, emotions, illness, and even death). That we know it is possible to overcome the temptations of the flesh by calling on GOD’s WILL is what we have received in Jesus example. We also know exactly what this looks like because of Jesus, so we have a real WAY of worshipping God that is ordained only by God without any corruption or mingling of human nature.

Obama’s Pastor: God Damn America, U.S. to Blame for 9/11
Obama’s Pastor: God Damn America, U.S. to Blame for 9/11
Sen. Barack Obama’s pastor says blacks should not sing “God Bless America” but “God damn America.”
The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s pastor for the last 20 years at the Trinity United Church of Christ on Chicago’s south side, has a long history of what even Obama’s campaign aides concede is “inflammatory rhetoric,” including the assertion that the United States brought on the 9/11 attacks with its own “terrorism.”

Israel and Palestine
the issue isnt the losing of the war. It is occupation.
By the logic you stated here, if the USA follows Israeli policy on right of conquest, we can kill and exile 80% of Iraq, bull doze all of their homes and build US settlements in Iraq that only Americans can live in.
Its just silly to think that Israel is in the right here.
